Kelly C. Sturmthal, Esq.
Kelly is a people person and if you have met her, you know that is a fact. She enjoys meeting with all of our clients, learning about their personal situation and meeting their estate and business needs. Her goal is to ensure you are Protecting Your Family and Protecting Your Business.
If you are a local or a snow bird, Kelly can relate! Kelly is originally from Wall, New Jersey and in 1981, her family moved to Jupiter, Florida. After graduating from Jupiter High School, she received a finance degree from the University of Central Florida and began her career with Barnett Bank, working in all areas of Banking and Marketing. As a long time Jupiter resident, she has lots of local information to share as well.
Guiding others through their planning has always been part of Kelly’s focus so she chose to pursue a law degree at the University of Miami. Since graduating, she has been practicing in the areas of Wills, Estate Planning, Probate and Small Business Planning.
Kelly and her husband moved back to Jupiter in 2002, where they decided to raise their children. She then opened up her legal practice and several other businesses, including a family business with her dad and KellyEsq, a business consulting firm. He continues to be an inspiration and an example of a successful entrepreneur as sadly, her dad passed away in 2011. Kelly still continues the legacy businesses that she and her dad started. Several years ago, her mom remarried a wonderful man who was a widower.
Kelly draws on her life and business experiences to guide her clients in their estate planning, probate and business planning. As a CEPA ( certified exit planning advisor), Kelly continues to guide her business owner clients through growth and exit planning, as well. As she cares for her clients, she also collaborates with other seasoned attorneys to ensure a complete plan is in place.
Kelly is married to Jeff Sturmthal, an Air Force (retired )F-16 pilot and American Airlines pilot. In addition to her past involvement in her children’s school for over five (5) years as PTO President, Kelly has also served as past President and Board member of the Jupiter High School Boosters Team. She is an original founder of Think Local Jupiter, now known as THINK LOCAL MILITARY, honoring local military families and providing local unique gift options for those that serve.
Kelly also provides business consulting courses, natural skills assessments and regularly speaks about PLANNING FOR YOUR LEGACY, if you need a speaker for an upcoming event.
Family is part of the conversation with all of her clients. Kelly has been married for over 25 years and she and Jeff have two sons and a puppy named Bailey. Nicholas is a graduate in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Florida and Alexander is a cadet at the US Air Force Academy. Together, Jeff and Kelly enjoy parenting, volunteering at church and local organizations, race cars, planes and traveling.
